First Interstate officials are excited to announce that Brigid Wagner was recently promoted to Director of Enterprise Planning. Wagner has served as Interim Director of Enterprise Planning since August 2023.
In this role, Wagner is responsible for ensuring the execution of the Bank’s strategy through effective prioritization and project management. This includes management of the project intake process, chairing the Prioritization Committee, and overseeing the Project Management Office. She is also responsible for effective reporting to the CEO, Executive Team, and the Board.
Wagner has been with First Interstate for more than 17 years. For 15 of those years, she has been with the Project Management Office, helping to establish the office, as well as best practices and standardized processes for delivering projects to the Bank. She has led the Bank through eight bank mergers, acquisitions, and integrations, learning and improving upon the process each time.
Wagner earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2016 and has since continued her education within the field. She is currently focused on the new methodology Disciplined Agile. She is also a Lean Six Sigma certified Green Belt. A graduate of University of St. Catherine in St. Paul, Minnesota, Wager holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications and a minor in Business Administration.
