Service to community has been at the core of First Interstate’s business for over 50 years.
As such, we are proud to announce we will once again hold our companywide Volunteer Day on Wednesday, September 13.
For the sixth year in a row, we will close all First Interstate offices at noon local time so employees can roll up their sleeves and lend a hand in the places they call home. We are excited to support our neighbors across 14 states with more than 400 service projects.
Over the past three months, we brought this commitment to life through our second Believe in Local campaign, awarding 40 separate $25,000 gifts to deserving nonprofits in our service area, totaling $1 million. First Interstate’s annual Volunteer Day underscores and punctuates these efforts, amplifying our impact to never-before-seen levels.
Additionally, through our volunteer match program, First Interstate pays nonprofits $10 for each hour First Interstate employees volunteer at their organizations (minimum of 10 hours). First Interstate also matches employee donations to nonprofits and donates 2% of our net income before taxes to charitable organizations. For more information related to how First Interstate contributes to the health and happiness of the communities we serve, please take a peek at our Community Scorecard.
Giving back with our time, talent, and treasure isn’t just what we do at First Interstate—it’s who we are.
Although our branch offices will be closed on the afternoon of September 13, our Client Contact Center will be fully staffed and available to assist you. As always, you can visit one of visit an ATMs, log into online banking, or utilize our mobile app for immediate banking needs. Regular branch and service hours will resume on Thursday, September 14.
Thank you for your continued business and for helping us celebrate the power of community, the power of teamwork, and the power of service.
