First Interstate employees -- including temporary hires – scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are automatically enrolled in the 401(k) savings plan at 5% personal contribution. First Interstate will match the first 6% of employee contributions, dollar-for-dollar. When you contribute to your retirement, First Interstate does, too.

Employees are fully vested after completing two years of employment and 1,000 hours worked each year, meaning if an employee leaves First Interstate after that time, they retain our contribution.
