I overpaid on my Consumer loan, where is my refund?

Category: Personal   Service: Consumer Loans | Updated: September 20th, 2023

Answer:

If your loan was paid off and closed with excess funds, we will refund the over payment amount.

  • Funds received from an account at another financial institution will be held for 10 business days. After the hold period, a Disbursement Check will be made payable to the Owner/Signer(s) of the loan and mailed to the address on file.
  • If the funds were transferred from a First Interstate account, paid via wire, or paid in cash, we will process the refund the next business day. We will credit the Checking/Savings directly if it was internally transferred. If paid by wire or in cash, we will issue a Disbursement Check payable to the Owner/Signer(s) of the loan and mail it to the address on file.
  • If you would like to inquire on the status of your refund, please call our Client Contact Center at 855-342-3400 Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mountain Time, and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time.
