How late in the day can I make a deposit and still get same-day credit?

The cut-off time for same-day deposits is Monday-Friday 6:00 p.m. MT.

Since a deposit is processed by the bank using a check image, what do I do with the original paper check?

The original check needs to be retained in a secure location for a period of thirty calendar days following the deposit. After thirty days, the checks must be shredded.
