At First Interstate Bank, giving back is part of who we are.
On Wednesday, Sept. 10, First Interstate Bank will close all branch offices at noon local time for its eighth annual Volunteer Day, a companywide initiative that encourages employees to serve their communities.
More than 400 service projects are planned across the Bank’s 14-state footprint, ranging from food bank support and park cleanups to nonprofit outreach and school supply drives. Volunteer Day reflects First Interstate’s long-standing commitment to community service, a core value since its founding more than 55 years ago.
“Volunteer Day is a reflection of our values in action,” said James A. Reuter, president and CEO of First Interstate BancSystem, Inc. “It’s an opportunity for our employees to step away from their desks and connect with the people and places that make our communities strong.”
While branch offices will be closed the afternoon of Sept. 10, the Client Contact Center will remain open during regular hours, from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. MT. Clients can also access their accounts via ATMs, online banking, and the mobile banking app.
Regular banking hours will resume on Thursday, Sept. 11.
