Remote Deposit Capture Requirements

Remote Deposit Capture System Equipment Specifications and Requirements:
Before installing the Remote Deposit Capture System, a pre-assessment inventory of Customer’s computer should be done to ensure it has enough hard drive space and memory available, the proper third-party applications and patches are installed, and all other necessary components are verified before beginning installation. Customer should use the following list to verify the computer requirements.

Minimum Client PC Requirements


  • Windows: Internet Explorer 11, Chrome, Firefox, or Edge
  • Mac: Safari 7 - 10


  • 2 GB free disk space (minimum requirement)
  • 2.0 GHz processor (minimum requirement)
  • One available USB 2.0 Port


  • Adobe Acrobat Reader (Version 3.0 or higher)

Network Connectivity

  • Internet connection, 512Kb up/down (minimum recommended speed)

Operating System

  • Windows: Microsoft Windows 7, 8, or 10
  • Mac: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan, Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite, or Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks

Login Rights

The following rights are required to access the relevant functions for remote deposit capture.

  • Administrator Rights: Users will require local administrator access to the workstation to install the security policy, activate computer and perform first-time capture.
