ACH Schedule for Indigenous Peoples’ Day/Columbus Day

Business Online Banking ACH files must be received by Thursday, October 10, in order to settle before the upcoming federal holiday (Indigenous Peoples’ Day/Columbus Day). ACH files received on Friday October 11, will not settle until Tuesday, October 15.

Pay online

  • Login to your First Interstate online banking account
  • In the top navigation, click on Move Money
    • Select Internal Transfer or Pay Loan from External Acct to pay from another financial institution account
      • The first time you make a payment from another financial institution you will be asked to setup a new Pay From account
  • Complete the required fields
    • From – select an account from the drop-down menu
    • To - select your loan account
    • Date – defaults to today’s date or you may choose a different date
      • If setting up a recurring payment, check the box Repeat transfer
    • Amount - Enter the dollar amount of the payment
    • Click Make Transfer
  • Allow three business days for your payment to post to your loan account

  • Complete the registration form
    • Select Account Type as Consumer Loan

Note: A First Interstate Bank deposit account is not required

Set up automatic payments

With automatic payments, your payment is debited monthly from your checking or savings account. Download the automatic loan payments authorization (PDF), complete the form, and return by mail or fax. You can also call us at 855-342-3400.

Set up bill pay at another financial institution

If your accounts are located at another financial institution and you want to utilize their online bill pay, please use the following address to ensure your payment gets to the right place. You will also need your account number and the First Interstate Bank routing number (092901683).

Call 855-342-3400. Representatives are available Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. MT and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. MT.

Pay in person

You can make payments at any First Interstate Branch. Find the nearest location.

Pay by mail

Make your check or money order payable to First Interstate Bank. Write your account number on your check or money order. Do not send cash.
