Fourteen Yellowstone County nonprofits received a combined $25,000 from First Interstate and the First Interstate Centennial Youth Foundation to strengthen programs that help local youth learn, grow, and thrive.
The Centennial Youth Foundation was created in 1982 during Billings’ centennial year as a lasting investment in the community’s future. Its mission is to fund youth organizations and activities in Yellowstone County, ensuring opportunities for athletic, cultural, educational, and social development.
Over its 100-year commitment, the Foundation will contribute more than $1 million to programs that enrich young lives in Montana. With this year’s awards, the Foundation has provided more than $739,000 toward that goal.
