Windows XP No Longer Supported by Microsoft

April 04, 2014

After 12 years, Microsoft’s support for Windows XP will end on April 8, 2014. Support for Office 2003 also ends on April 8, 2014. This means there will be no more security updates or technical support for the Windows XP operating system or Office 2003 programs.

PCs running Windows XP after April 8, 2014 should be considered not protected. If you currently use Windows XP as your operating system, it is important to migrate to a current, supported operating system – such as Windows 8.1 – so you can receive regular security updates to protect your computer from malicious attacks. For more information on this change, or to learn how to upgrade your operating system, please visit Microsoft.
