New Credit Card Phone Scam
November 7, 2013
We have received notification that First Interstate Bank customers are receiving automated voice messages that their credit cards have been locked. These phone calls are a phishing scam and are not associated with First Interstate Bank.
Calls appear to be coming from number 303-968-328x, although this could change at any time. The caller leaves an automated voice message that alerts recipients that their card has been locked. The message then requests the cardholder to input their card information in order to restore the status of the card.
Please do not disclose your card number or account/personal information during such a call. This is a phishing/scam phone call; First Interstate would never call customers and ask for such information.
If you have any questions about this or any other suspected email scams, please contact your local First Interstate Bank branch or our Corporate Security office at 406-237-2702.
