We have been notified that customers have recently received a phishing text. The subject line is "Message-ID:XXXX FirstinterstateB Alert12345," and recipients are asked to call a phone number and input their credit card information. A few customers also report receiving calls claiming their MasterCards® are frozen and that they need to provide their credit card information to “unfreeze” them.
If you receive messages similar to these, please do not provide the scammers with your credit card information. These messages are not related to First Interstate Bank. Please note that—for security reasons—it is our policy not to contact customers by phone or text and request personal/account information.
