IRS Phishing Scam

A phishing email similar to the sample provided below is circulating. The scam emails, which look similar to the example below, invite recipients to open an attached document. Please do not open any attachments included with the emails; the attachments contain malicious code that will infect your computer if opened.

If you receive such an email, please do not open it or click on the attachment.
