New First Interstate Branch Open in Miles City

May 1st, 2017

After months of prepping and planning, First Interstate Bank is pleased to announce the opening of its newest branch on May 1 located at 2909 Dickinson Street (along South Haynes Avenue) in Miles City. April 28 is slated to be the final day of operation at the downtown branch, with all services switching to the new location on May 1.

“South Haynes has become the main entrance into Miles City,” said First Interstate Branch President Jeff Rodenbaugh. “We’re excited to offer increased visibility and improved access to clients with our new location.”

But improved location isn’t the only benefit to First Interstate customers.

The new 7,000 square-foot branch merges the traditional branch concept with improved digital technology. Customers can still enjoy the relationships they’ve cultivated with their Miles City bankers, but they’ll have increased options and conveniences regarding how they interact with the bank.

“The new branch was built to anticipate changes in technology and banking trends so that we can best serve Miles City and the surrounding communities,” Rodenbaugh said. “This model is exciting for us because it couples innovation with the time-honored level of superior service our clients have come to expect from First Interstate.”

A larger lot allows for improved traffic flow, and drive-up lanes were outfitted to better serve larger vehicles like trucks with trailers and SUVs.

The high-performance building will be as energy efficient as possible, providing a comfortable, customer-friendly space that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.

“We plan to be a part of the Miles City community for many years to come,” Rodenbaugh said. “This new branch is a testament to that promise. We are honored to serve the good people of Miles City and Eastern Montana and will continue to look for ways to respond to their individual needs.”

First Interstate Bank is a community banking organization, operating over 80 banking offices, along with online and mobile banking services, throughout Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota. First Interstate is driven by strong family and corporate values, as well as a commitment to exemplary customer service, exceeding customer expectations through products and services and supporting, with leadership and resources, the communities it serves. Community invited to official Grand Opening Ceremony held May 11

While the branch will open its doors for business on May 1, the official dedication of the new branch and Grand Opening Ceremony is held Thursday, May 11 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Enjoy refreshments, appetizers and the chance to win door prizes and gift cards to some of your favorite Miles City businesses. You do not need to be a First Interstate customer to attend.

“If you’ve ever been curious about First Interstate or simply want to stop in and visit with staff about our mission and level of service, this is an excellent opportunity,” said Jeff Rodenbaugh, President of First Interstate Bank in Miles City. “The move and new building is transformational, but clients can still expect to receive the same attentive and customized level of service from our dedicated and talented staff.”

The afternoon begins with an open house at 2 p.m. followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting at 3 p.m. with the Miles City Chamber of Commerce. Staff will be on hand to answer questions about the new branch and offer tours as available.
