After months of prepping and planning, First Interstate Bank is pleased to announce the opening of its newest branch on May 1 located at 2909 Dickinson Street (along South Haynes Avenue) in Miles City. April 28 is slated to be the final day of operation at the downtown branch, with all services switching to the new location on May 1.
“South Haynes has become the main entrance into Miles City,” said First Interstate Branch President Jeff Rodenbaugh. “We’re excited to offer increased visibility and improved access to clients with our new location.”
But improved location isn’t the only benefit to First Interstate customers.
The new 7,000 square-foot branch merges the traditional branch concept with improved digital technology. Customers can still enjoy the relationships they’ve cultivated with their Miles City bankers, but they’ll have increased options and conveniences regarding how they interact with the bank.
“The new branch was built to anticipate changes in technology and banking trends so that we can best serve Miles City and the surrounding communities,” Rodenbaugh said. “This model is exciting for us because it couples innovation with the time-honored level of superior service our clients have come to expect from First Interstate.”
A larger lot allows for improved traffic flow, and drive-up lanes were outfitted to better serve larger vehicles like trucks with trailers and SUVs.
The high-performance building will be as energy efficient as possible, providing a comfortable, customer-friendly space that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.
“We plan to be a part of the Miles City community for many years to come,” Rodenbaugh said. “This new branch is a testament to that promise. We are honored to serve the good people of Miles City and Eastern Montana and will continue to look for ways to respond to their individual needs.”
