As part of this transition, existing First Interstate Bank VISA® debit cardholders will receive new Mastercard debit cards in the mail during the month of July. Reissued cards include Debit Masterard®, World Debit™ Mastercard® (replaces the VISA® Platinum Card), Business Debit Mastercard®, and Health Savings Account Debit Mastercard®. In addition, cardholders will receive activation information and a description of Mastercard’s suite of premium benefits and services. Before your card arrives, you will receive a letter letting you know the card is on the way. ATM cards will be reissued during the month of August.
Even though customers will receive new debit cards, debit card PINs will not change. Existing PINs will be retained, meaning less hassle for you, our valued customers.
We recognize that you may have concerns about this transition. We welcome you to contact your local branch or our Customer Support center at 1-855-342-3400 (M-F 7:30am – 7pm and Sat 10am – 2pm MST) with any questions you may have.
