We believe a building that is environmentally friendly is important and one more way we can make our communities a better place to live and work. This belief is demonstrated in our newest buildings in Missoula, Billings, Great Falls, and Helena.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is an internationally recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance in areas that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.
First Interstate Bank's participation in the voluntary and technically rigorous LEED process demonstrates leadership, innovation and environmental stewardship. We are proud of the work we are doing both within our communities and within the bank to make our world a better place.
