Attaching a Forward
To send First Interstate Bank a specific email, you may be asked
to include it as an attachment rather than performing a simple reply
or forward. This is true for the phishing abuse form. To send an
email as an attachment:
Outlook 2007
- Start a new email or reply to an existing email ensuring
there is a valid email in the "To:" field.
- Click the "Attach Item" button in the ribbon at the top of
your message.
- Select the email you wish to attach and click "OK."
Outlook / Outlook Express - Drag and Drop Method
- Start a new email or reply to an existing email ensuring
there is a valid email in the "To:" field.
- With the email open and Outlook / Outlook Express still
viewable, drag the email you wish to attach from Outlook /
Outlook Express to the new email. It will automatically attach
the email to the current message.
Outlook / Outlook Express - Save Method
- Within Outlook / Outlook Express, open the email message you
wish to attach. Click on file › save as.
- Save the file as .msg or .eml to a location on your computer
(ie. desktop).
- Start a new email or reply to an existing email ensuring
there is a valid email in the "To:" field.
- Click on the "Attach File" button and navigate to same
location as the previous step.
- Select the .msg or .eml file and click the "Insert" button
to attach the file.
