What is an Account Alert(s)?

Sign up for our FREE Account Alerts service through I-Bank, our Internet Banking service and we will alert you via your mobile device, email account or Online Alert Box when specified account activity occurs.

What accounts are eligible for Account Alerts?

At this time, checking and savings accounts are eligible to receive Account Alerts.

What type of Account Alerts can I receive?

  • Checking Low Balance Alert - Alert me when the balance of a checking account I specify falls below an amount I specify.
  • Checking Deposit Alert - Alert me when a deposit has been presented to the checking account I specify.
  • Checking Balance Change Alert - Alert me when the balance of a checking account I specify has changed.
  • Electronic Withdrawal Alert - Alert me when an electronic transaction exceeding an amount I specify has been presented to the checking account I specify.
  • Check Cleared Alert - Alert me when a check number I specify has cleared my checking account.
  • Savings Low Balance Alert - Alert me when the balance of a savings account I specify falls below an amount I specify.

How much do Account Alert(s) cost?

Alerts are a free service for our I-Bank customers. Regular account charges apply. Standard charges from your mobile device provider may apply for text messaging. Please check with your mobile provider for details.

Is it secure?

Yes. All messages exchanged between the mobile device and server are encrypted with 128 bit encryption. The message is then transferred over the mobile provider’s network.

What delivery options are available?

You can receive your Account Alert(s) by e-mail, sms/text message, or your I-Bank Online Alert Box.

What is my text message address?

Your sms/text message address is your 10-digit cell phone number @ your mobile provider’s address. Below are some examples of mobile provider sms/text message addresses. If your mobile provider is not listed, please contact your mobile provider directly.

What do I need to set-up an Accounts Alert(s)?

All you need to get started is access to I-Bank, our Internet Banking service.

How do I setup my Account Alert(s)?

To setup account alert(s), log into I-Bank your Internet Banking account, click the "New" link next to " Checking Alerts" or " Saving Alerts" in the " Alerts" section of your Account Summary Page. View and print the Account Alert setup instructions.

When will I receive my Account Alert(s)?

Once you have successfully set up your Account Alert(s), the receipt of your Account Alert(s) is based on the type of alert(s) you have set up.

If you have set up the " Checking Balance Change Alert" or the " Check Clear Alert" you will receive these alerts on the business day following an alert triggering event (e.g. Check # 123 clears your account, etc.). Expect to receive these alert(s) late in the evening or early in the morning.

If you have set up any of our other Account Alert(s) you will receive these alerts within approximately 10 minutes of an alert triggering event. (e.g. A deposit has been presented to you account, etc.)

What should I do if my email address or cell phone provider or number changes?

To edit an Account Alert(s), log into I-Bank your Internet Banking account, click the " Checking Alerts" or the " Saving Alerts" link in the " Alerts" section of your Account Summary Page. Click the Alert Number link for the Account Alert you would like to edit. Edit information and then click " Submit" .

How do I view the set-up one of my existing Account Alert(s)?

To view an Account Alert(s), log into I-Bank your Internet Banking account, click the " Checking Alerts" or the " Saving Alerts" link in the " Alerts" section of your Account Summary Page. Click the Alert Number link for the Account Alert you would like to view. Click " Submit" or " Cancel" to Close.

How do I edit an existing Account Alert?

To edit an Account Alert(s), log into I-Bank your Internet Banking account, click the " Checking Alerts" or the " Saving Alerts" link in the " Alerts" section of your Account Summary Page. Click the Alert Number link for the Account Alert you would like to edit. Edit information and then click " Submit" .

If I set-up an Account Alert(s) to be sent to my Online Alert Box, where can I view the Account Alert(s) I receive?

To access your Online Alert Box, log into I-Bank your Internet Banking account, click the "Alerts (#)" link next to "Checking Alerts" or "Savings Alerts" in the "Alerts" section of your Account Summary Page. Click the link for the Account Alert you would like to view. Click "Ok" to close. Click " View Accounts" to Close.

Click "Delete" next to the Account Alert(s) you want to delete after viewing. Click "View Accounts" to Close.

How do I delete an Account Alert?

To delete an Account Alert(s), log into I-Bank your Internet Banking account, click the " Checking Alerts" or the " Saving Alerts" link in the " Alerts" section of your Account Summary Page. Click the "Delete" button next to the Account Alert you would like to delete.

If I set-up an Account Alert(s) to be sent to my Online Alert Box, how long will my alerts remain in my Online Alert Box?

Alerts that are setup to be delivered to your Online Alert Box can be viewed for 30 days before they are automatically deleted from the system.
